Ms Shepherdıs newest calligraphy is done in 3-D, working with texts from Henry David Thoreau, Wallace Stevens, & e e cummings. Her newest book, The Art of the Handwritten Note, from Broadway Books, will detail the compelling joys of handwritten correspondence in an electronic age. Learning Calligraphy will be reissued in early 2001 in completely revised and updated format. She is also researching Calligraphy Around the World, a book about non-western scripts. |
